    GRUB BURGER BAR

Let's grab dinner at Grub Burger! Awesome food, drink and appetizers. Pay at the bar with your order, so order as much or as little as you like. I expect we will be there until 9! PS! If anyone wants to bring (male or female all are welcome!) friends or significant others to join this is totally ok. It will be laid back and just a chance to hangout and say hi to everyone and there's no agenda just good food and company! I mentioned before already but parking is also easy.

  • PechaKucha 20x20 Style Lightning Talk - Life Changing Moment(s)

Hi there! We’re really excited to be hosting our THIRD PechaKucha 20x20 Style event, themed “Life Changing Moment(s).” We have 3 awesome local lady speakers and there will be hot tea and food to eat. This event is co-ed and open to all. • 6:00 Doors Open (please bring photo ID), Networking • 6:45-7:20 Presentations Update, we're expecting to have 3 speakers instead of our usual 5. I have been poking friends and have asked everyone I can comfortably ask to speak over the last few pechakuchas. However, the three ladies that we have are stellar and I'm super excited for the talks, and know no one will object to extra networking time! :D Speaking: - Rotem Raviv - Grace Lee - Jossie Haines • 7:20 Networking • 8:00 Doors Close Please RSVP so I have an approximate headcount (You can also email me/text to say you’re coming, but try to give me a day’s notice since I’m organizing food and don’t want anyone to be left hungry/sad!) *I will take some time to get everyone to introduce themselves briefly. Thanks for the support and looking forward to seeing you soon! Cheers! Keri FAQs: • What is PechaKucha Style!? Each speaker has 20 slides, and spends 20 seconds speaking about each slide. The slides auto-advanced with no stopping and no going back, resulting in pretty fun, lightning fast 7 minute presentations. We thought this would be a good format for our large scale meetups since we’re new to this and wanted to get as good of a variety of speakers and perspectives as possible: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PechaKucha ___ Join us for our third PechaKucha 20x20 Style presentation evening, themed "Life Changing Moment(s)" Speakers will be presenting their own stories that relate the theme and celebrate women. This event is co-ed and open to all, and will include a networking portion at the beginning and at the end. We will be announcing speakers and a few more details in the coming days, but wanted to get this on your calendar! We have space for 40 attendees, there will be food and hot tea. Please bring a friend, the more the merrier! We do need some volunteers, and the tasks are fairly straightforward, some might even say enjoyable so so if you are interested please drop Keri a line! :) —— • Can I speak too!? Of course! For future events, and possibly even this one: We are trying to make this a monthly (or every other monthly) event. If you have a topic you are passionate about, or are interested in speaking at this or a future event, please feel free to drop me a line! Keri Thanks for the support and looking forward to seeing you! Keri
