Love happens. We feel it and it has impact. There is a timely analogy to show what this means. Polling has been part of the democratic landscape for hundreds of years. At its heart there is a phone connection and a willingness to share one’s intent to vote. As you may have read, there has not been and does not appear to a way to improve predictability even in the so-called digital age. Even Gallup got out of the business altogether. A dating service faces exactly the same challenge. Dating choices are being made based on data, but we are left wondering if it is good data. The result? Bad dates and more bad dates. Are we doomed?
