I will be crossing this event with the Santa Monica Wine Meetup Group.
This afternoon Moe’s Fine Wines in Brentwood will have a Premier Cabernet Sauvignon wine tasting. Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the world's most widely recognized red wine grape varieties. It is grown in nearly every major wine producing country among a diverse spectrum of climates from Canada's Okanagan Valley to Lebanon's Beqaa Valley. Cabernet Sauvignon became internationally recognized through its prominence in Bordeaux wines where it is often blended with Merlot and Cabernet Franc. From France, the grape spread across Europe and to the New World where it found new homes in places like California's Napa Valley, Australia's Coonawarra region and Chile's Maipo Valley.
The Cabernet Sauvignons for the tasting this afternoon are
Faust Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 - Rutherford, CA - $45
Leviathan Winery Cabernet Sauvignon - Oakville, CA - $50
Altamura Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa, CA - $75
Knights Bridge Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 - St. Helena, CA - $90
Arietta Cabernet Sauvignon - Oakville, CA - $100
You will be impressed with this selection of wines.
The cost of this featured wine tasting is $20 which includes special appetizers. The wine tasting starts at 3 PM and ends at 6 PM
