If you’re in town this holiday weekend, come and join us at Whole Foods in El Segundo to enjoy one of their popular wine tastings. Tonight we’ll be tasting Whole Foods exclusive One Wines.
Whole Foods Market joined forces with the Hearst Ranch to create a new, custom-blended wine label, “One Wine.” Whole Foods’ collaborative winemaking program, which started in Santa Barbara County recently expanded to Paso Robles, was launched in order to create truly unique local wines specifically for Whole Foods Market customers, making them available at an affordable price.
Whole Foods Market’s “One Wine” has partnered up with wineries across the Central Coast, including Hearst Ranch Winery, Au Bon Climat Winery, Ampelos Cellars, Clendenen Family Winery, Hartley Ostini Hitching Post Winery, Happy Canyon Vienyards, Sextant and Margerum Wine Company producing varietals such as Pinot Gris, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and others.
“One Wine” is produced in limited quantities due to the specialized blends, so we’re in for a treat tonight.
The wine specialists for Whole Foods will select a fine selection of 4 One Wines for tonight’s tasting.
The cost is $10 for the wine tasting which includes the 4 wines and small tapas. There are also a number of selections of tapas for purchase. We can buy hot and cold appetizers at one of their many food stations.
We will have a table reserved for our group. It is recommended that you arrive earlier than 5 PM. The wine tasting starts at 5 PM. Your seat will be given away if you do not arrive by 5:15 PM. The wine tasting lasts till 7 PM with the Wine & Tapas Bar staying open until 8 PM. You might want to bring a sweater/jacket as it may get cool in Whole Foods as they have their air conditioners on.
This event is limited to 15, so sign up soon. If your plans change, please update your RSVP accordingly. We'll meet in the Wine & Tapas bar. See you there! Free parking too.
