What we're about
We are a group of dedicated road cyclists, with some of us training for organized rides and/or races.
We welcome all newcomers, but we ask that you have a functioning road bike (No folding bikes, cruisers, or other leisure-type bikes) and be able to average at least 13 mph.
We offer early morning rides in Prospect Park and beyond during the week, as well as longer rides on weekends.
Rides aren’t “led” (please bring your own cue sheet) - they’re just times to meet up with some good folks and ride. Ride distance and pace will vary depending on who shows up.
There will still be plenty of opportunities to stop for coffee/lunch and regroup
Group ride rules and guidelines:
Please follow these! Otherwise you may be asked not to ride with us.
***We welcome all newcomers, but we ask that you have a functioning road bike (No folding bikes, cruisers, or other leisure-type bikes) and be able to average at least 13 mph***
You’re responsible for yourself and your own safety, as well as that of others; always ride smart, ride safe
Wear a helmet
Ensure that your bicycle is safe and serviceable
On rides where we use a cue sheet, please make sure you have a copy of the cue sheet, whether printed or on a GPS device and readily accessible as to orient yourself at anytime
No headphones, ear buds, radios or similar audio devices during the ride...it's not safe!
Be considerate of slower and faster riders around you; remember that this is a fun ride, NOT a race
Be careful, signal, and let others know when you’re slowing or stopping.
Avoid sudden sideways movements while riding in a group; be predictable and always hold your line.
