What we're about

The Meetup's purpose: This group is for women entrepreneurs and women who aspire to become entrepreneurs, who want to grow, feel inspired to live out their dreams and learn from one another and other successful business women on their journey to reaching their business goals.

Message From Organizer of South Florida Women Entrepreneurs

It amazes me that in my lifetime—only 30 years ago—women business owners needed a male co-signer to get a business loan. In 1988, the Women’s Business Ownership Act helped open access to capital for women entrepreneurs by prohibiting sex-based discrimination in lending.

A lot has changed for women entrepreneurs in the last 30 years. In fact, a lot has changed just in the past decade.

I am delighted to have you aboard. You’ll find that I am knowledgeable and passionate about entrepreneurship and I hope we can help each other with our goals.

I am the founder and CEO of Yesu2can Financial Consulting. In this role, I am responsible for managing the overall operations and resources of the company, and for implementing the company’s long and short term plans.

Prior to my current role, I was the operations manager for several high profile banks. I was responsible for delivering banking, credit and cash management solutions to small business clients. I serve as a mentor for small business owners at SCORE and as an instructor teaching personal and business credit.

As the organizer of South Florida Women Entrepreneurs , I will be responsible for empowering and inspiring you as business owners. By the time you step away from this group, you’ll be changed on the inside and the outside.

Support and Encouragement

Whether you prefer to do business online, on the go, or in person: You’ll have access to a wide range of tools and support to help keep your business organized, connected and efficient. When you’re ready for some face-to-face support, you can learn best practices, be inspired and get motivation from other entrepreneurs at workshops, seminars and events hosted by South Florida Women Entrepreneurs.

In the Spirit of Service,

Audrey Rush-Green
