The Wednesday evening group starts with a 30 minute silent meditation, followed by discussion about mindfulness practice or other meditation-related topics. While our discussions often involve teachings of Buddhism due to its abundance of insight into mindfulness, we welcome all backgrounds, encourage all perspectives, and strive to remain free of dogma/ritual. Beginners are welcome. The only requirement for this group is an open mind and tolerant intention.
This meetup is free, but optional donations are accepted to help cover the cost of meeting space.
