If you go down the stairs that are next to the main door by the parking lot, go straight. We'll be in the last room on the right. It's called the Collaboration Room.

We're studying the books written by Sir David R. Hawkins, MD, PhD, who was an internationally known psychiatrist, physician and awakened spiritual teacher. Rarely has a "realized" spiritual state occurred in the life of an accomplished scientist and physician. Therefore, Dr. Hawkins is uniquely qualified to present a spiritual path that is explained in detail and scientifically compelling to modern society.

In his books we are studying/discussing enlightenment, non duality, the smaller self, the higher Self, and that enlightenment is analogous to the shining forth of the sun. Once the clouds are cleared away (our judgments, positionalities, opinions, attractions, and aversions), we see that the sun (our higher Self) has always been shining (always been what we are). We can't force seeing the sunshine when it's overcast (realizing the Truth of who we are). It happens naturally when we let go of our smaller self that was blocking the sun.

The current book we are studying is "The Eye Of The I From Which Nothing Is Hidden. It reveals that very core of the spiritual process critical to the state of Enlightenment.

We are meeting in the SSF library on 840 W Orange Ave, in their "Collaboration Room" downstairs. The library allows you to bring in a beverage if it has a lid, and snacks, if they don't have an odor. For instance, crackers, cheese, and nuts would be fine, but french fries or a burger wouldn't be. We also use a conference call number for those who would like to join by phone vs in person. Please send me a message over MeetUp if you'd like to use the call in number.

Looking forward to having you join us.
