I'm starting this book club for women of color who want to read works by Black female writers and are available to meet up on the South Side (anywhere between South Loop and Morgan Park).**
The book options are open to what you want to read. Books are chosen randomly, two at a time. This month's book will be Daughters of the Stone by Dahlma Llanos Figueroa. And in April, we will be reading Zora Neale Hurston's Their Eyes Were Watching God.
**I'm adding the South Side caveat because sometimes I prefer to do things that I enjoy closer to home, instead of trekking to the North Side. If you feel the same way, then this group is for you!
