South Sound Garden Club March 2018 Meetup
Spring is here, all the plants are starting to bloom! Looking forward to the upcoming gardening season! Please feel free to bring plant and seed catalogs to show - we love to talk about new plants or garden ideas we want to try out! Everyone is welcome to bring ideas for outings and events for 2018! Come join us and feel the spring fever! We will be holding this at one of our favorite local nuseries, "Watsons" which is located off Pioneer Way in Puyallup WA. This meetup will be held in their cafe called Antone's which is inside Watson's main retail greenhouse at the far right corner. Time: 10:00 am to 12: pm (everyone is welcome to wander around the nursery afterwards to their heart's content!) [:)] They will have breakfast items available when we start (cookies, scones, quiche, pies, etc.). We encourage all of our attendees to make a purchase at their cafe while we are meeting (coffee, tea, etc.), as they are allowing us to use the space for free.

    What we're about

    Public Group

Thanks for taking the time to check out this group!! If you love gardening and want a fun garden-themed activity at least once a month to learn and share your love of gardening, then this is the place for you!

I know there are a lot of people out there who want to learn or share more about gardening, who have a love for the beauty that surrounds us here in the great Pacific Northwest and would like to implement some of these ideas and techniques in your gardening activities. In this group, when we get together you will have a great time! It will be relaxed, casual & Fun!!

Whether you have a small "patch" (a few containers), a large "patch" or "no patch" but want to get started on one does not matter, only your interest and passion for all things "garden". We will try to cover many varied interests in gardening, social events with members, plant/seed exchanges along with field trips to garden shows, garden tours, arboretums, nurseries, public gardens, farmer's markets, festivals related to gardening, and even plan on crafting some of our own "garden art". We also plan to have occasional guest speakers on topics of interest to you!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will join us!
