Tell us a little about your gardening background and experience...

I love seeing plants sprout up in the spring, wait for the new iris I planted to bloom so I can see their beautiful new colors, & can appreciate our giving earth. My experience is limited to adventuring into lovely flowers the past 5-7 years. With two moves I left a great many established periannals, but always find replacements in a garden center or big box store. This is the first year I've tried veggies & have no idea what kind of success there will be.

What would you like to see or learn more about in our gardening meetups?

Vegetable growing ideas and what is best to get a good crop. Review of the best how to books.

If we have special workshops or guest speakers, would you be able to contribute a minimal amount to cover basic costs?

I'm new to PNW & am in awe of the beautiful flowers and shrubbery. Relocated most recently Dallas, Midwest girl, retired from FedEx, moved to the area to be near my intersted in learning about gardening here.
