We're an active and friendly Humanism group in London, UK. Our well attended monthly humanist gatherings normally take place on the first Tuesday of each month, in The Vestry, Richmond, South West London. As well as these main meetings, we have plenty of other interesting activities too. We're a Partner of Humanists UK.
To attend meetings you don't have to join or become a member. You're especially welcome if you think you may in fact already be a humanist and want to find out more.
There's no need to use the RSVP button here on Meetup - just come along!
SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN THIS PAGE TO SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING!
If you're looking for someone local to conduct a humanist funeral, wedding, baby naming or civil partnership, then go to Ceremonies where you'll find details of local Celebrants who are all fully-accredited by Humanists UK.
Come along to The Fox, 39 Church Street, Twickenham TW1 3NR at 12.30 or just for a drink, meeting like-minded people, and a lively chat.
We meet on the first Sunday of the month.

It's a shocking fact that the scourge of slavery continues, right here, right now. This is an opportunity to hear from one of the most authoritative sources on the subject: The Centre for the Study of Modern Slavery (CSMS) at St Mary's University.
Our speakers are Dr Carole Murphy, Deputy Director (and founder) of CSMS, and Neena Samota, Programme Director for Criminology and Sociology. 7.30 for 8.00 start at The Vestry Hall, 21 Paradise Road, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 1SA.
This walk will follow the middle section of the River Wandle from Mitcham Junction Tramlink station to Earlsfield. The walk is mostly on paths close to the river. Expect a bit of mud underfoot if it has been wet. We'll be passing many historical sites including Merton Hall and Merton Abbey Mills. We will finish for lunch in a hostelry near Earlsfield Station. Total distance about 6 miles. Organiser telephone number[masked]
