  • It's time for a fun, moderate hike that runs about 5 miles. We'll gain about 1,000 feet elevation to 8,527 feet.

    Depending on weather conditions, traction gear such as spikes or yacktrax might be needed.

    Meetup time: 9:15 am at the trailhead parking lot.

    Please make sure that you go to the SECOND Aldefer/Three Sisters PARKING LOT, which is a few hundred yards down the road from the first one.

    It is the large lot with a barn and yellow house next to it.

    Please be aware the elevation and thin air may create some challenges.

    Saturday's forecast: Sunny, with a high near 36 (probably 20s when we start). West wind around 6 mph. Snowfall Friday is expected to be around an inch. Dress appropriately and bring layers. It should be a great hike!!
