Considered by many as one of the best guitarists in Spain, Twanguero (a.k.a. Diego Garcia) is internationally renown for his unique “Latin-Twang” sound, that goes from Spanish guitar, American folk, flamenco and tango, and for his impeccable fingerpicking style. Rolling Stone magazine said, “…Twanguero is a journey into the heart of the music…” Known as the fire-breathing guitar hero, he launched his successful solo career after years of accompanying Latin music giants such as Bunbury, Calamaro, El Cigala, and others. He received a Latin Grammy for his work as a co-producer (together with Diego El Cigala) in “Romance de la Luna Tucumana”. He has toured Spain, Mexico, America from South to North and other parts of the world. His latest albums Pachuco and Argentine Songbook (Warner Music) have been highly acclaimed. He’ll be joined by his great rhythm section of Whynot Jansveld on bass, and Mark Strepro on drums.
