  • February Lazy Chihuahua Meetup and Play!

    DoGone Fun!

It's so cold out! Let's meetup, move those little chihuahua bodies and socialize! A few things for your Chihuahua's health & safety: ~We always have fresh water available, pee pads, wipes and hand sanitizers ~If you bring a treat, always ask owners before feeding other Chihuahuas -allergies! ~Please skip the meet if your dog is ill, in heat or has had recent surgery ~Please wear a leash until inside the play area ~Please keep an eye on your chihuahuas at all times ~Please clean up after your chihuahua ~If your Chihuahua gets feisty with others at any time, please pick them up What happens at the meet? Basically, we stand around while the chihuahuas play 'with each other.' We do not force them to socialize, we let them manage this on their own. Most chihuahuas get along very well with each other. Most new chihuahua members are shy the first few meets - this is quite normal. After a while, most venture out on their own and make new friends! Some play, some sniff around, some just hang out and watch everyone else. They are all different. Please check the site before you leave your house to make sure it hasn't canceled. You are also welcome to call us if you have questions[masked] PLEASE NOTE: This is a newer indoor venue for our group. All Chihuahuas are required to 'go' before they come inside to avoid any accidents. Please pick up after your chihuahua if they have any accidents. There is a 20 dog limit so be sure to include each chihuahua you are planning to bring to the even when you RSVP. Meetups are for members only.

  • Dinner With Your Chihuahua & Friends 2019

    Public Landing Restaurant

What could be more exciting than an evening patio dinner with your chihuahua? Bring your well behaved and LEASHED chihuahuas to join us for dinner at the Public Landing Restaurant's patio area (http://www.publiclandingrestaurant.com/patio.html). There is even a doggie menu - YUM! Click here (http://www.publiclandingrestaurant.com/yappetizers-for-dogs.html) to learn more about the restaurant and pricing (everyone pays their own). Things of note: ~ all chihuahuas must be leashed - no exceptions & no retractable leashes please! ~ there will be other dogs there, so if your chihuahua does not like other dogs around, do reconsider and join us another time ~ dogs are not allowed inside the restaurant, please do not bring them inside ~ Each doggie family pays their own meal ~ for this one we need a total of people joining the dogs as we need to give a total headcount. When you RSVP - do so for your dog only, but note in the comments how many people. This is very important as this will ensure we have seating for everyone. If we do not get a response, we will assume one person, and sometimes restaurants won't sit people unless the whole party is there. So we appreciate your cooperation with this. Thanks! ~ pray for no rain and decent weather!
