18:15 - Doors Open

18:30 - Introductions

18:45 - Phil Grayson - Standardise, optimise and streamline your SQL Server estate

The Community Edition of Aireforge Studio is a free tool that focuses on making estate management simple. Learn how to compare configurations, users, settings, jobs and more, between 2 or 2000+ instances of SQL Server and Azure SQL Database. Also learn how to quickly document the configuration of your estate and how this process can be used to store point in time snapshots with reports and tests that can be viewed or compared against later. Finally, the talk will cover how these tasks can be automated for alerting and integrated into build or deployment pipelines.

19:45 - Break and Pizza

20:15 - David Morrison and Jake Hedges - SQL Server Tips & Tricks

In this session we'll look at a range of SQL Server tips, tricks and misconceptions. Ranging from TSQL coding, wait stats, query hints and loads in between.

Delivered in a fun and light hearted manner, the emphasis of the session will be learning lots of little take away’s that can be applied to your environments and practices when you get back to work

21:15 - Prize Draw & Close
