What we're about
This is a group for families who homeschool African American children and respect all homeschooling styles. This group will help build a homeschooling community where your children can play and learn along side other African American children. Your children will have the opportunity to interact with kids of all ages who are raised to be kind, loving, and respectful to themselves and others. AAHSC is not religiously base but will be routed in Universal/Spiritual principles. AAHSC will plan many educational field trips and attend activities in Los Angeles County which includes, San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, Long Beach and the Santa Clarita area. This all inclusive group will include co-op programs. Parents will contribute their time, talents and skills toward classes such as: cooking, language, gardening, etiquette lessons, sports, writing, science, art, African American and multicultural studies, meditation, photography, dance, yoga and drama. We can create any kind of class we believe our kids will benefit from and enjoy along side their fellow homeschoolers. AAHSC will also focus on character building and giving to others by being involved in community service projects and merging forces with other educational centers who support homeschooling.
