SECOND PHOTO WORKSHOP IN BIG SUR FEATURING THE AMAZING KEYHOLE ARCH EFFECT ON JANUARY 21, 2017
Dates: Saturday, January 21, 2017 to Sunday, January 22, 2017.
Optional Day: Friday, January 20, 2017. For those who are able to attend on Friday, we will be meeting at 10:00 am and travel to several location including the Keystone Arch. If you are not able to join us on Friday, you can attend on Saturday morning and be able to visit all the scheduled locations.
Big Sur: The Big Sur Area of California is a magnificent combination of land and sea with an amazing range of subjects to photograph in spectacular Big Sur coastal locations and parks. In addition to the Keyhole Arch, some of the locations that we plan to visit include: Garrapata State Park, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, Bixby Bridge at Night, Purple Sand Beach and Point Lobos.
Keyhole Arch Effect: For a few weeks each year around the Winter Solstice, the sunset casts an ethereal glow through the Keyhole Arch that is absolutely breathtaking. People travel from all over the world to photograph this iconic event.
About This Workshop: We will spend both Saturday and Sunday afternoon photographing the Keyhole Arch. In the evening, we will do some images with the full moon including Bixby bridge. On Saturday morning, we will spend the morning at Point Lobos and on Sunday morning we will visit other Big Sur locations. The exact schedule for the workshop will be made a few days before the workshop.
Class Size: 15 photographers.
Early Bird Workshop Fee: $125.00 (not including travel, meals, park entry fees or hotel rooms). The price will increase to $150.00 on December 13, 2016 at midnight.
