Stephen Kennedy is a passionate human resources and communications professional who leads university relations, early career development programs and employee career experience for Synchrony, a premier consumer financial services company and consumer bank. As vice president leadership programs and employee career experience, Stephen is responsible for leading a team focused on implementing strategies, processes, tools and technologies that enhance employee career engagement, experience, connection and collaboration across Synchrony. Prior to joining Synchrony, Stephen served as a vice president at Prosek Partners, an international, public relations agency. In this role, Stephen developed, executed and managed strategic, metrics-driven PR programs on behalf of a diverse set of global financial institutions within the insurance, wealth management and technology sectors. Stephen also served as Prosek’s Connecticut talent acquisition manager and internship program director, building the agency’s internship and university relations platforms.
