The Southern Illinois Toastmasters Club helps people to develop confidence:
- as a group, department, or company spokesperson,
- to conduct meetings, and
- to effectively approach “difficult” conversations.
The Southern Illinois Toastmasters Club helps if you are:
- a teacher, business or other organizational speaker who would like to improve your stage skills,
- interested in public service, or
- wanting to engage and inspire people to take action.
The Southern Illinois Toastmasters Club welcomes guests anytime. Its members, a uniquely dynamic team, enjoy the process of helping people achieve self-confidence in a multitude of communication challenges. Speeches, presentations, conversations and toasts are just a few of the speaking venues the group practices. Members includes bankers, teachers, university professors, consultants, coaches, ministers, counselors, business managers, small business owners, entrepreneurs, retirees and college students.
We meet Thursday’s at John A. Logan College, Room B60, Logan College Road, Carterville, IL 62918 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Whether you come to participate or to watch, you will enjoy the entertainment and camaraderie each week.
