If anyone else would like to send me thoughts/comments about the luau I will start a file for next years planning committee.
Do we want to survey the attendees? I've never used Survey Monkey but could figure it out. I'm on the fence about it. I'm not sure we should take advantage of using the data from Brown Paper Ticket in a manner other than intended. With our own SNHUG members, family and friends we should be able to create our own feedback.

Here's my feedback. Food was not served as requested. We need serving stations so people can't clean out the buffet. Middle doors should be locked so traffic is not interrupting performances. Lights need to be more facing the performers. We need a green room. Merch table should be more prominent.

My apologies for not thinking of this last night during the meeting.I think we should add establishing a 2015 Luau Planning Committee to our planning agenda. Maybe the 2014 committee can review what went right/wrong. What we could do different next year; while the event it still fresh in our minds. We could also survey the attendees for feedback. I'd be happy to do the survey if the group thinks it is a good idea. It's a bit early to start planning for next year but we could review the night completely(venue, food, performers, jam session, etc.) and have some data to refer to when planning for next year.

We have the power to change this world, ukulele by ukulele! :-) singing, too.

Or does it sound better if I say: ukulele by ukulele, we have the power to change this world! Either way, I like it. So I, for one, propose that this be a motto of the group.

I would like to discuss having a sub group to try some all instrumental pieces. We could have meetups for this at my house if that would work. I hope to be there tonight.

    Hey June & Dan!

Has there ever been any/or enough interest in changing the meetings to Sunday nights? Or maybe even alternating Fridays/Sundays?

    Just throwing it out there...

I could certainly be up for that, but Salisbury is a long way from my house. Like I mentioned before, I'd love to have you guys come to my place, especially in the summer! I live right on the river, and it might be more accessible for Deb at that time. Let me know your thoughts!

Yes, but we do not have a venue for Sunday except in Salisbury MA. I'll add to Friday discussion topics. Thanks.
