• Sunday Uke Social At Earcraft

    Earcraft Music

We have the use of the stage and sound equipment at Earcraft, and open mic performers old and new are encouraged to sign up for a 15-minute time slot! It's a great opportunity to play on stage in an informal setting, or just to listen and sing along. Performers should bring a song to share with everyone at the end of their set. With extra time we will circle up for an informal jam.

  • An Afternoon with Lee Seniors

    Kirkwood Corners Senior Living

Here is another new adventure on our Seniors circuit. We are now being contacted with requests - must be doing something right! New players, visiting players, people who would like to just sing - all welcome to join us to share some songs and smiles with the residents of local senior living facilities. We always have a good time! The setlist will be drawn from the Seniors Songbook which is posted on our website, snhug.wordpress.com. The song choices change slightly from month to month and will be posted in comments, below.

  • Seabrook Library Meetup

    Seabrook Library

This is a beginners/intermediate group that is attendee-driven: depending on the interests of the group, we will be focusing on various skills, sharing favorite songs, or just jamming! After starting this group last winter, we ended with a successful kids' summer program and had a great performance night with the students and SNHUG. Now we are ready to get back to our regular Wednesdays and see where they take us! Details for each meetup will be in the comments section. Feel free to suggest songs or offer to lead us!

  • Every Other Friday Jam - Songs from my Parents Record Box with Keith

Keith will be presenting a collection of songs from his parents record collection. These are songs he grew up listen to on his dad's Hi-Fi. Most of these songs date back to the late 50's and early 60's. It will cover everything from doo-wop, surf music, crooners, rock and roll, novelty songs, and much more... We meet every other Friday in Brentwood. We start with a jam, rehearsal, or combo of both. No need for music stands as we project the chords and lyrics on a projection screen. Later we wrap up with a 30 or 40 minute open mike, where members perform for the group. Suggestions and volunteers for leading the jams, lessons and open mike session are always welcome. Whether you are an old pro or total newbie there are smiles all around just for you. See you soon!

  • An evening with Concord Seniors

    Cobblestone Pointe Senior Village

We are departing from our usual Saturday or Sunday afternoon senior gig to play at Cobblestone Pointe in Concord on a Thursday evening. We hope to join forces with the Upper Valley group and have a great turnout! Setlist will be similar to past Seniors gigs, and will be put in the comments below when we get closer. Please make suggestions if you have song ideas! We will draw mainly from the Senior Songs 2019 on the SNHUG website, but additions are always welcome. As always, bring your printed music, a stand if you have one, uke, kazoo, shakers.... and most importantly, a smile!
