UPDATE - not sure what the condition of the Heritage Trail will be after last weeks' snow storm.  Bring your micro spikes if you have them!

1st - Rushing Duck

2nd - Touch Base (bring your own tomato  - BYOT)

3rd - Heritage Trail Walk - Sunset is at 17:31; bring a flashlight just in case!

We did this event in December and had way too much fun not to do it again.  The Rushing Duck & Touch Base are two places you need to "experience" in order to understand what they're about.

Meet at 11:45 a.m. at the Chester Train Station conveniently located at the Heritage Trail on Winkler Place in Chester, NY.

Dress according to the weather.  Severe weather conditions will postpone this event.  Please send me your cell # if I don't already have it!

$1 meetup fee, please

When hiking you are responsible to research the event, know the area and bring the proper gear, supplies, clothing, first aid, and lights. For information on equipment, what to wear, health and safety while hiking, etc. visit the NY NJ Trail Conference website at .  You should review trail maps and trail features carefully before starting any hike.  Understanding the topography of a hike is key to your knowing where you are, where you're going, and how to get back.

Sharing a drink and having lunch with the group at Touch Base was a lot of fun. I enjoyed talking to everyone at this friendly pub.

There is a possibility that I may have a conflict. I'll know by Thursday. So want to do this!

Would love to attend, but this past blizzard has changed some appointments. Have a great time!
