I personally don't track anything right now. One area of interest would be doing experiments and analysis involving core body temperature. Also, when the kids get old enough, it might be fun to measure heart rate patterns during rock climbs.
Building a low cost device for gathering core temperature data. Not invasive methods. Most likely either temporal artery or infrared earphone type of thermometer. Other than that, I would generally enjoy helping others crunch their data. Might be fun to do some graph database work on data with lots of relationships between variables. Especially if there's a lot of it. n=node(*)
