Beginners' "Hot Night @ Hart Park" Conditioning Hike

Join us this hot Summer night for a beginner's conditioning hike at Hart Park. Whether your goal is to advance to the next level, or you simply want to add us to your exercise regimen, you will enjoy your time this great group of people. We will meet at the dirt parking lot at the Sheriff's pistol range at the West end of Hark Park by 6:15pm. This is a slow paced hike with a few good inclines and some slippery slopes. The length of the hike will vary between 3.5 to 4 miles depending on how extreme the temperature is. All levels are welcome to participate as our hikers have a varied degree of ability. We support each other and we always have fun! Bring lots of water.

This hike was started to help beginner hikers to get into better condition to go on some our outings. Although most of the outings are moderate to strenuous hikes, options are often offered to complete only the portions of the hike more suitable for beginners. The Tehachapi Mountain Peak hike is a good example of one of these hikes.

Once you are comfortable with this conditioning hike, you have the option to move up to our more challenging conditioning hike(s) to develop your abilities further.
