What we're about

Southwest Florida Gardening Society is a passionate group of gardening enthusiasts! Sponsored by The Florida Native Butterfly Society (501c3), our meet up group helps each other create incredible gardens that attract natural wildlife, produce healthy edible plants and reap the rewards of growing in our unique semi-tropical environment. We enjoy sharing trees and plants that are a magnet for native butterflies that add incredible beauty to your home garden. In short, we share, discuss and identify the best "backyard" agriculture practices to create and maintain gardens for everyone to enjoy!

Plant Swap

Thrifty Garden

***The plant swap has moved to the front area (Fowler St. side) of Thrifty Garden, next to the front porch. This is not a formal meeting -- people come and go throughout the day.

***Other classes are still going on, but for now, all are booked at thriftygarden.eventbrite.com. This is to have one spot for RSVPs, because we are limiting attendance to about 5 at any class (not applicable to plant swap).

Every Saturday: Bring a plant, and take one someone else brought! You never know what you'll find -- people bring potted plants, cuttings, seedlings, and seeds! RSVP not necessary, but feel free to post in the comments if you're looking for something specific, or to let people know what you're bringing.
