Looking for experienced mountaineers to join a Mt Baker climb 06-07 Aug. Route will be Easton Glacier (https://www.mountaineers.org/activities/routes-places/mount-baker-easton-glacier). Glacier/rope team travel and crevasse rescue skills required.

- Itinerary
06 Aug - Meet at the Mt Baker Ranger Station in Sedro-Wooley, WA (810 State Route 20 Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284) at 8am. Drive out to Baker Pass Trailhead, hike up to high camp on the Railroad Grade Moraine. Conduct crevasse rescue refresher training in the afternoon.

07 Aug - alpine start for summit, back to high camp to pack up, then all the way out and back to Sedro-Wooley.

- Gear
In addition to normal overnight backpacking gear and clothing layers, each climber will need to bring the following:
Climbing boots
Crampons
Ice axe
Helmet
Rescue pulley
Carabiners (minimum of one locking and four non-locking)
Belay device
Hero loop
Prusik system (waist loop and foot loop, I'm using a Texas prusik)
Seat harness (I'm using a Black Diamond Couloir)
Chest harness (I'm using webbing tied in a loop)
Runners (minimum of two single and one double, tied not sewn)
Pack drop loop and carabiner (separate from above)
Picket
Ice Screw

Avalanche rescue gear (transceiver, probe, shovel) may be required, a determination for this will be made by 19 Jul based on current avalanche conditions and information will be sent to team members.

- Team gear
I will provide one rope (for up to one four-person rope team) and one shovel. We may need more depending on the number of people going.

Tentage and stoves/fuel to be based on number of people going.

- Travel
Each person is responsible for their own transportation.
