This is the 2nd effort in completing the HD Passport run but includes a stop at the Riding Into History Concours d'Elegance antique bike show at World Golf Village in north St Augustine.

The '13 Florida Independents Tour is a program where you register at your participating HD dealership (Space Coast HD in Palm Bay for example) where you'll get your Passport. Ride to the 33 participating dealerships ranging from Key West to Tifton GA and Jacksonville to Fort Walton Beach between 1-Apr and 27-July and get your passport stamped and earn a ticket at each stop for a final drawing for a $5000 HD Gift Card. There are also 33 weekly winners. See your dealer and Passport for details and how you can earn extra tickets. This is an excellent way to see Florida and gives you a goal for your riding, but it's not for the weak of heart or soft of butt. I participated in 2 prior runs and logged over 3000 miles each year.

I don't expect anyone to join me because I have yet to see much participation in any of the long rides I've posted but I certainly welcome company. I design loops that maximize the number of dealer visits while staying within reasonable riding times and also trying to pick some fun roads in the process. All are welcome to follow my progress, which I'll post here as separate loops. It looks like there will be 5 of them.

For Loop 2, I'll hit the 6 dealerships in northeast Florida. This covers 338 miles and should take about 11 hours including 2 hours at the show - 6 3/4 hours on the bike and I plan for at least 4+ hours for stops - more with lunch and dinner. I plan to leave Palm Bay at 7:30 AM and will run north up I-95 to Jacksonville, then return to the show, arriving about 1:30 PM.

Anyone that wants to join - let me know and we'll name a meeting point that works for you. Attaching map jpegs: The full Florida map shows all 33 participating dealers with completed stops in green, orange for this loop and red for those yet to be visited. The 2nd map shows this loop.
