Attend the Riding Into History Concours d'Elegance motorcycle show

This is one of the best little-known antique motorcycle shows in Florida. It's worth the ride / drive and $10 admission. The bikes that are displayed each year change but you WILL see legends that you'd only previously heard of and marks that you never had. All of these are running and restored bikes.

I am making this announcement and recommendation but not setting up a run specifically to get to the show. I am attending under the "HD Passport Loop 2" meetup listed separately. If anyone is going to the show and will be there in the 1:30 - 4:00 PM time frame let me know and we can "meetup".

As usual - a pretty good show though not quite as many legends as in the past like Ariel 4's. Vincent Black Shadows and Broughs. Lots of new brands to replace them including an exquisite '05 Erie that was about the most ornate antique bike I ever saw, plus a number of bikes that competed in the Cannonball Run over the last 2-3 years. Don & I arrived pretty much on schedule just before 1:30 and walked the loop twice exchanging comments and stories about the bikes we saw - and remembered.

Nice event, a lot of bikes and memories. Did not run into anyone from the meet up. Wanted to share some photos we took today.

For those attending - since I am arriving from the north - all I can offer is that the show is at Exit 323 on I-95, then west a half mile or so. There will be signs. Coordinate riding / arriving together as you please and you can use this announcement to do that.

You can see some pictures of bikes at last year's show posted with the 2012 "Riding Into History: Motorcycles Concours d'Elegance" meetup.
