Hey guys, what kind of songs do you play? I'm new to the uke, only. Couple months so I'm not sure I could play a lot of the songs.

Can you give me a few songs that I can practice before hand?

    August 5, 2013

  • Anna Flowers B.

I plan to attend the Aug. 10 jam, and I play guitar and baritone uke. I live at Indian River Colony Club where I play in a group called The Zebra Band. My website is annaflowersbooks.com and there's a band photo under Gallery. Of course we're not professional, but we have a lot of fun! Do you provide some music sheets for all to play from or do we bring our own? As a "first timer" I'd also like to know a Pot Luck dish to bring.
    Thanks, Anna Flowers

Bill do you think the big screen will be available since Elika is out of town? Anna, under files there are pages and pages of songs to download and print. Some of us work out of the Daily Ukulele Book, sometimes referred to as the big book by Jim Beloff. I am not able to make this meet up, sometimes we post a list of songs that we will play. If I was going to attend I would do just that. Come out meet up with everyone and you will enjoy.
