The first Sunday of every month at 10 am we meet at the Tennessee Valley Trailhead in Mill Valley. It’s a 3.4 mile relaxing stroll out to the beach and back. You will be back by noon. Bring a snack or wine to share on the beach, if you like. If the weather is not good I will send a note the day before with the name of a local cafe where we can meet.

All levels welcome. If you are unfamiliar with the trailhead, google directions work well -- but know that you just keep driving and driving and driving and then finally you will find the end of the road and the beginning of the trail. Be sure to go all the way to the end of the road, not stop at the sign that says Tennessee Valley. There will be a handmade cardboard sign on top of the table that says Caminamos y Hablamos en Español.

If you arrive late, you can find us on the beach. The correct trail is the one that is the continuation of the road.

Sorry, but dogs are not allowed.

I live in the Mission District in San Francisco. Anyone available to give me a ride? I will certainly chip in for gas expenses.

I'm coming from the Inner Richmond! I would love to hitch a ride with someone going on Nov 3. I can pitch in for gas or bring some yummy snacks.

I would like to go but I don't own a car and so I need a ride. Anyone interested in carpooling?

I am in hayward in the east bay. I could meet someone at a bart station. Just wondering: What bus gets me to the tam valley bus stop?

The Golden Gate transit buses that come from SF. There's no good way to get here from Hayward on public transportation. It would take you a couple of hours to BART to SF and transfer to a GG bus to Tam Valley. It's doable, but hopefully we'll hear from somebody who is driving from the East Bay.
