Julian Bleecker (PhD) is a researcher, product designer-engineer. He has been a professor at the University of Southern California, and a designer-engineer at Nokia’s Advanced Design Studio. He is presently founder and CTO at Omata, Inc., a product design company that has developed a modern analog-mechanical computer.
Katie Ubben received a M.Arch from Berkeley last year, and now works as a designer at Rapt Studio. She has a deep interest in both the history and future of LA's built environment, especially through the lens of permanence and obsolescence.
Kate McMillan grew up in Houston, Texas, making up stories and illustrating them whenever she could. She went on to study architecture at Yale and Norwegian boat building through the Mortimer Hayes-Brandeis Fellowship, after which she made her way out to Los Angeles where she is currently working as a visual development artist at DreamWorks TV.
Sergey Philippov is a Software Engineer at LOT 2046. Previously CTO of Lapka and Research Engineer at Samara (Innovation lab @ Airbnb).
Lilyan Kris is an artist and technologist who uses software “incorrectly” to generate delight. They are currently inventing speculative playgrounds.
Evan Stalker is a designer and director based out of Los Angeles exploring design for machine learning.
