Hello, fellow movie lovers! Aaron Spickelmire, assistant organizer, contacting you today about a new meetup I am scheduling for this coming Friday, March 14.

I am tentatively scheduling us to watch a film at the AMC theater in River Park Square that night, at around 6:30 or so. Once I know what the overall film schedule is like for that weekend, I will update this announcement. Depending on what's playing our venue will be either the AMC or the Magic Lantern, and the meeting time will be changed accordingly.

As usual we will meet at Hill's Restaurant, on the corner of Main and Washington (across from Auntie's Bookstore), after the film for food, drinks and good conversation.

Have a good week, everyone, and I hope to see you there!

3/12/14 UPDATE: I am changing the location and rendezvous time for this meetup. We will be seeing THE PAST at the Magic Lantern Theatre. The film starts at 6pm, so I will meet everyone outside the theatre at 5:45pm. It is a French/Iranian film directed by Asghar Farhadi, who also directed the Oscar-winning Iranian film A SEPARATION. Here is the IMDB link for more information about THE PAST:

I saw this film when it played at the AMC theater last week, so while the group is watching it I will be seeing MR. PEABODY & SHERMAN at AMC, which starts at 6:25pm. If anyone would like to join me, I would appreciate the company.

We will still meet at Hill's Restaurant after our respective films end. Since they both finish at roughly the same time (around 8:15), I will either meet the group at Hill's or come back to the Magic Lantern and walk down with you. However, the banquet room we usually use at Hill's is already booked that night, so we will be set at a group of tables in the front corner. If you plan on going to Hill's after the movie please let me know Friday night before THE PAST starts--that way the restaurant can be prepared for everybody.

Thank you for your time, and I hope everyone enjoys their Friday evening!
