What we're about

Springfield/Eugene-area Editors (SEE) meets at noon on the second Tuesday of each month at Le Cafe Maison for education, connection, advice, mentoring, and lunch!

We usually have about 10-12 attendees. We begin each gathering with introductions, then have a short talk (~10 minutes) by a featured guest on an area of their expertise, followed by 10-15 minutes of Q&A/discussion with them. The rest of the time is devoted to editorial fellowship.

We welcome as members all professional editors who can make the trek to Eugene at least occasionally. Our group includes members from Corvallis, Florence, and Yachats as well as Eugene and Springfield.

RSVPs are appreciated, but coming without one is fine, as is coming late or leaving early.

For drivers: The first hour of parking is free in Eugene's city-run parking garages, then $1/hour. The nearest ones are on Willamette between 7th & 8th Streets, and on Olive between 6th & 7th Streets. They're marked with a P on this map: https://www.eugene-or.gov/1928/Downtown-Dai... (https://www.eugene-or.gov/1928/Downtown-Daily-Parking-Rates)

========================

Note: To foster fruitful discussion among attendees, we ask that editors have at least a year of professional experience to join the group.
