Come learn about Small Board Computer (SBC) (RPi, Arduino, others) or bring your own SBC projects to share! We will have two presenters, discussing the topics below. We will also have open discussion and sharing, so if you have questions, bring them! If you have a project, bring it! Presenters to cover: ASP.NET Utilize LIRC via an ASP.NET Core web app to replace your universal remote." LIRC is a package that allows you to decode and send infra-red signals of many (but not all) commonly used remote controls. ASP.NET is an open source web framework for building modern web apps and services with .NET. Node-RED Node-RED is a visual programming tool that allows easy control of all of the pins on the Raspberry Pi. It has a large collection of libraries that add functionality like the creation of a web page, sending emails, and twitter. It also has tight integration with a messaging platform called MQTT which allows easy wireless communication with devices like the ESP8266 as well as online data services. This makes Node_RED an ideal tool to easily create home automation applications.
