• Monthly Red Thread Circle
This month's Red Thread Circle will be focused on self-friendship and deepening our appreciation of our earthly temple - the body! We will start by checking in and grounding, passing the red thread around to share our 'present state', and then move into the inquiry round. I will offer a soft and gentle guided meditation to support body awareness and offer a reading to guide the inquiry. I invite participants to bring something from nature to add to our group altar as a way for us to honour the season. Please also feel free to bring snacks to share. I will provide herbal tea and chocolate, as always! xo See you Friday! ___________________________________ About Red Thread Circles: Red Thread Circles are a place for women to gather together for creative processing, story and wisdom sharing, digging into poetry and inspirational writings, and digging thoroughly into the good stuff of the feminine life. Red Thread Circles are a place to feel fearless belonging; dropping in to your own body, and taking in that deep breathe of ease that comes from feeling held, witnessed, and cared for. It is also lively, full of laughter, and 'ah-ha!' moments for the soul. Above all, it is a place for transformation to be supported where magic is often afoot.

Now autumn is here. Winter will follow. The time when the apertures of our hearts must open all the wider to let in the light... Welcome to the magic of the Red Thread. As a certified Red Thread Guide, my intention for these Red Thread Circles is to bring women together for creative processing, story and wisdom sharing, digging into poetry and inspirational writings, sharing our gifts/talents, and digging thoroughly into the good stuff of the feminine life. Red Thread Circles are a place to feel fearless belonging; dropping in to your own body, and taking in that deep breathe of ease that comes from feeling held, witnessed, and cared for. It is also lively, full of laughter, and 'ah-ha!' moments for the soul. I want to grow this Red Thread community in Squamish and ensure that there is always a place for women to gather - to be a village for each other. We don't have to be 'like' each other to be in circle together, we just have to open to each other. And there is some depth and grit that comes with this too - the ability to be self responsible, to welcome difficult truths, to navigate the emotional terrain of circle sharing with honour, love, and self containment (and by that, I mean the choice to not take things personally, to listen wholeheartedly to others without interrupting or interjecting, and honour the circle agreements.) In circle, we draw close, and we learn to honour each other's humanness. We are refined, we grow, and we heal almost without effort...just by showing up. This is my vision. It is big and bright, and if it resonates with you - no matter what kind of woman you are and what kind of women you 'usually' hang around with - please take your seat in the circle. Our first autumn Red Thread Circle will be Friday October 19, 2018 at The Healing Space. As I love to have circle inquiries mirror the season and moment in time they are held in, the inquiry for this circle gathering will be the Autumnal process of going inward, and what I call 'the brighter light of the dark season'. We will get creative doing some journal/poetry style writing and sharing and potentially some collaging as well. I truly cannot wait to see you there. Please note, their will be a $10 fee for these circle to cover cost of space and heartfelt energy investment of your host. Please RSVP.
