Nancy Pollete Book Signing to Support POW MIA Museum

Award Winning author, Nancy Pollete, is doing a presentation at 3 p.m. So, let's get there at 2:45. It will be followed by a  book signing of her three renowned books on woman veterans as a Fund Raiser to the Jefferson Barracks POW MIA Museum. I believe the cost is ten dollars a piece. I'll ask & make a change if necessary. If you want one of her wonderful books cash works the best for making a purchase.

The Location is Butler Library, which despite address given above doesn't have an address; so I drove over to find it myself. Below is how to get there.

Directions from I-70 & Highway 94. Go north on 94 until it turns off & you find yourself on Kingshighway. Make a left on Watson at light (Jimmy Johns sandwich shop on far corner to right). Turn left into Lindenwood University at first entrance on Watson. At this point Houston St is on the right of Watson, and the entrance is on left. At first intersection, a commuter parking lot is on left. Butler Library is past Young Hall on right. If there is a question my phone number is[masked] 7915. If you RSVP & can't come, politely change your RSVP.

Her book, Angel in Fatigues about a woman POW who served in WW II and Korea was so good I read it over night. It comes with a forward by Cassie A. Strom, a St. Louis woman veteran who was just promoted to Major General. Also to avoid getting lost follow my directions. GPS is a bit funky around Lindenwood's new development.
