The Game Dev Duel ( http://www.gamedevduel.com/ ) is over in less than a week! If you don't have something that resembles a finished game it's time to start wrapping things up. Regardless of your current progress, please bring your team to this meetup along with whatever you need to show progress (HDMI compatible, please).
St. Louis based Graphite Lab's studio director Matt Raithel (or Game Designer Matt Donatelli) will do a short talk on how to put the finishing touches on your game, followed by some Q&A. Graphite Lab released Hive Jump (http://hivejump.com/)'s early access version to Steam on July 20th, and they'll have a lot to say on the topic.
After Matt's talk and your progress updates and we'll do some overall event Q&A then give the teams in-person planning time to talk among themselves. If you need a laptop to assist in planning please bring one. We are expecting to have wifi access so that you can update any shared documents while together.
If you are not participating in the Game Dev Duel, but are interested in seeing team's progress and Matt's talk you are also welcome to come, but please be warned that the content of this talk will be much shorter and focused on the teams participating in the event than usual.
