Where are you from?

Belleville, IL

What would you like to get out of STL Game Developers?

I would like to lay the groundwork for a production team that will prepare titles for presentation to a publisher. I would like to turn this team into a design company making independent game titles. Also, I would like to expand my knowledge of the game design and development community to help gain a greater understanding of the world I'm looking to enter. Lastly, I look forward to networking and building lasting friendships within the game design community.

Briefly describe your ideal videogame.

This is a tough one because I have a head full of ideas I've pieced together over the last ten years or so. However, my ultimate game goal is an RPG with an MMORPG feel that focuses more on a smaller group and building the story of you and your friends. A game in which you can conquer incredible odds, slay massive beasts, and lead full scale armies to total victory. In short a world where you can build a legend from the ground up.

Why did you join this group?

I was looking for more people in this area who are involved in game development. I was sent here by a member who responded to a craigslist ad I had posted. The game design industry seems to me like a very closed industry and after much thought I realized the best way in was to build something yourself that you could sell. I figured a group like this would be the most effective way to make that happen.

Cake or pie?

What does cheesecake count as.

I've been fascinated by video games and how they worked from a very young age. I was very fortunate to see the industry develop and grow. It's been an amazing journey from my first game (Dragon Quest) to the high end games we enjoy today
