Let's practice some sports photography and what better way than with our first $1 baseball night of the year
Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd;
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,
I don't care if I never get back.
Come out and watch the Thresher's play the Daytona Cubs for a fun night with some good friends.
Did I mention that tickets are only $1, that's right...only $1. That's not all..... hotdogs, sodas, 12 oz draft beer, peanuts, ice cream sandwich's, and popcorn are also a $1....for $5 you can see a game, have some food and still have enough leftover for a few drinks....how can you beat that????
I normally park by Buffalo Wild Wings and walk over to the entrance closest to BWW's.
We'll buy our $1 tickets and then go find some seats. We usually try to sit in sections 117 or 118. If you arrive late, you can call me at[masked] to find us. If it's loud I may not hear my phone so please try to arrive on time or look for us when you get there near the third base seats.
We will meet at 6:30 at the gate marked below (South Entrance). Please try to be on time as I can't guarantee we'll be able to find everyone if you arrive late.
See the map below to find the gate where we'll be meeting. The red X marks the spot.
If you arrive late, look for us near the third base line (sections 117 or 118). I will have my phone on me but it's very loud in the stadium so there's a very good chance that I won't hear the phone ring so please try to be at the gate shown above no later than 6:30.
When you buy your ticket, be sure to ask for the $1 ticket, NOT by section number.
Lens selection - The longer the better but you don't need a telescope.... I usually shoot either my[masked] or[masked] and get some great shots.
