Join us this month to hear from Nick Burns (http://www.nickburns.nz/), Founder of local success story Emendo.

Emendo’s hospital capacity planning software CapPlan was built to help hospitals forecast and manage patient activity, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars annually and improving service for patients.

In 2012 Emendo was acquired by Fortune 10 firm, McKesson Corporation, the ‘IBM’ of the healthcare software sector, which was an outstanding result for Nick and the team. At the time of the sale, Emendo had over 40 staff in Christchurch and worldwide. Emendo’s CapPlan was being used in over 40 hospitals across New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the UK.

Since leaving McKesson in 2015, Nick has continued to help sell kiwi tech to the world as an investor, mentor, and advisor.

You can also look forward to hearing about Nick’s current involvement with kiwi hospitality company MenuMate, and a number of locally based start ups, along with stories as the Chairperson of The Clown Doctors NZ Charitable Trust.

Come along for pre-drinks from 5:30pm, with formalities starting at 6pm.

We’ll wrap up the evening with free drinks and pizza =)
