Dubai is joined by the WINNER and guest judge of tv show The Entrepreneur!

The Entrepreneur

Dubai is getting ready to kick off its second Chapter event on December 3rd and is lucky to be joined by newly crowned WINNER of the hit TV show The Entrepreneur. LouLou Khazen Baz the founder of nabbesh.com will take to the stage with guest Judge also from the show Muna Al Gurg. This is our chance to find out more about nabbesh.com to see what it was about the company and idea that was strong enough to win The Entrepreneur.

With such a buzz around entrepreneurs and startups in Dubai we are very excited to hear about regional startups like nabbesh.com and the story behind both of our guests. Loulou beat over 2000 applicants to win an amazing prize of AED 1 million (USD 272,000) in cash and another AED 1 million in consulting services from leading companies such as Ernst &Young, Leo Burnett, Dubai Silicon Oasis and Wamda to help her continue the success of nabbesh.com and travel further towards the stars of the startup world.

Prior to launching Nabbesh, Loulou was part of the founding team at UAE based venture capital firm ActiveM, where she oversaw the planning & execution of new start-ups across the healthcare, education & technology sectors.

Nabbesh the Middle East’s skills marketplace brings together talent and opportunity in a simple, effective platform that goes beyond freelancing. Using Nabbesh, people across the region can offer their talents and services to people or businesses that need those skills.

Muna Easa Al Gurg is the Director of Retail for the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group(ESAG). She is responsible for strategy and operational development for the group’s international retail brands that include United Colors of Benetton, Siemens, Unilever, IDdesign and ICI Dulux Paints.

In June 2010, she was presented the Emirates Women’s Award for outstanding achievers by HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.

Startup Grind have teamed up again with our friends at MAKE business Hub to host the event from 7-9pm on Monday December 3rd. During the fireside chat we will have the Tweet Tank allowing our audience to find out the answers they want to hear from the successful duo.
