David and Stephanie Ciccarelli, Voices.com

David and Stephanie Ciccarelli founded Voices.com (http://voices.com) in 2004, and it has since become the #1 marketplace for voice-overs. Radio and television stations, advertising agencies and Fortune 500 companies rely upon the Voices.com marketplace to search for, audition and hire voice talent. Voices.com has helped over 100,000 voice actors showcase their talent while serving clients like ABC, NBC, Google, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and thousands of others.

From customer service to innovation, entrepreneurial leadership to economic and cultural development, the team at Voices.com has won a variety of awards that demonstrate its leadership in business.

As Chief Executive Officer, David (http://www.twitter.com/davidciccarelli) is responsible for setting the vision, executing the growth strategy and managing the company on a day-to-day basis. David is a graduate of the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology (2000), and has served the industry for over a decade, expanding its reach in Silicon Valley and via Bloomberg Radio. David was also Canada's first Google Glass Explorer (http://www.tmcnet.com/usubmit/2013/07/15/7275684.htm).

Stephanie (http://www.twitter.com/StephCiccarelli), author of the recently released Voice Acting For Dummies (Wiley 2013), is the Chief Marketing Officer of Voices.com. Considered one of the most connected people in the industry, Stephanie has been heard on radio, appeared on television and contributed to articles in Forbes, Success Magazine and CNNMoney.

Agenda

6:00 Networking and Food
7:00 Fireside Chat
8:00 Networking

Hosted By Amanda Stratton, Director of Startup Grind London

I'm a communicator, cofounder, and community-builder, and at the heart of it all, a startup helper. My experience with Hacker Studios (http://www.hackerstudios.com) and Startup Canada (http://www.startupcan.ca)'s Startup Communities program has underscored and confirmed my belief that the best way for early-stage founders to learn is from experience--especially the experience of others. I love London, and I think it's a terrific place to start up, and am glad to bring successful entrepreneurs onto the stage to share their experiences with other homegrown companies.
