Maxim Osipov, Sentimoto
Sentimoto is the brain-child of a team of entrepreneurial students from the University of Oxford, Centre for Doctoral Training in Healthcare Innovation and a proud member of the Bethnal Green Ventures accelerator. Our mission is to apply the Quantified Self approach where it is most needed, to help older people age safely, connected and cared for by their loved ones.
Maxim holds an engineering degree in Computer Science and EMBA in Strategic Marketing. His background is in technology development for major international companies, such as Motorola,Siemens and GE, where he was leading projects and development teams working in automotive, telecommunication, industrial automation, energy and medical areas.
His current research at the University of Oxford focuses on identification of symptoms of mental disorders from behavioural information and he is particularly interested in applications of wireless sensors. Maxim is a winner of the TATA Idea Idol Oxford’s prestigious business competition and previously co-founded a home wireless sensor company.

James is an Agile Project Manger and ScrumMaster with over fifteen years experience of implementing collaboration platforms and the associated cultural change into Investment Banks, Government Agencies and the UN. He is interested in the Startup mindset and feels that the philosophy, approach and methodology encapsulated the Startup body of knowledge can also be deployed at enterprise level. He is interested in assisting aspiring Oxford entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and founders. His current research is focused on the process of bringing Technical innovation to production, managing the talent and funding to reach commercial viability.
