"We head to PDX both in the summer AND for Thanksgiving every year, so you know it’s not just the summertime weather we love about the city…" Shares & Tweets About Scott’s Talks: "Thanks so much for the great workshop - time well spent! I really like your style and the way you structure the work…" - Ganna Boiko, Co-founder & CEO @ RoundTeam The most useful part of the workshop was the systematic approach to selling, from A to Z. I've listened to and read a lot of sales gurus, Jason Lemkin, Dale Carnegie, Brian Tracy etc but didn't feel they tied everything in to one framework. Guess that's why you call it "The Framework" :) - Kari Thor Runarsson, CEO & Co-founder of Authenteq "I got more actionable help from your talk than from anyone else's last week… especially the 4 Ps model… It never occurred to me that 3 out of 4 qualifiers = not qualified." - Isaac Szymanczyk, Business Storyteller & CEO @ Conveyor

  • Bitcoin 101: What's Happening/Current Events
Thursday, March 1st, 5:30-7:00pm, NedSpace, 707 SW Washington, Suite 1100 Bitcoin 101: What's Happening/Current Events Tickets are $10 at the door Bitcoin encouraged; PayPal, Venmo, SquareCash, checks, and cash accepted. No one turned away for lack of funds. Forks, Futures, Regulations, & Scaling 2017 was a tumultuous and exciting year for Bitcoin. It saw the rise in price from $1,000 to nearly $20,000, the introduction of Segwit, notable hard forks of the network, and contentious debates in the community about how to scale the network as congestion and transaction fees reached record highs. It was also the first year that bitcoin futures trading hit mainstream US exchanges (the CBOE and CME), with NASDAQ on the horizon for the second quarter of 2018. This talk will discuss each of these developments in greater detail, as well as changes in Bitcoin's legal status around the world, and what kinds of implications these factors could have on the future of Bitcoin and the greater cryptocurrency space. Hostess Phoenyx Guyton has a degree in Global Economic Systems and International Business, and has been a student of decentralized systems, social movements, and cryptocurrencies for many years. She co-founded a Bitcoin consulting business 4 years ago, has written many helpful guides, and is currently writing a book about Bitcoin. Even with our greatest desires and hard work, there still never seems to be enough of these, leaving us feeling disconnected, frustrated and disappointed. To cope we shrink our expectations for our life to ease the anxiety of living it, instead of examining our experience to live extraordinarily. Level Up is a workshop that makes available a new connection to life making you aware of, and activating, the dreams you hold true for yourself. Total freedom and control over your destiny is available, but requires a new exploration and connection to how we operate. Opening up to this exploration and learning several key exercises to step into your personal power will deliver extraordinary, lasting and permanent results. When these exercises are made into a daily practice, life will never be the same. • Bitcoin 101: The Basics
    • What we'll do The price of Bitcoin has sky-rocketed this year as global adoption continues to trend upward, as more governments recognize it as currency, and as impoverished populations seek refuge in an uncensorable, free-to-access, and relatively stable global payment network. Yet, Bitcoin's biggest strength is also its biggest weakness: there is no centralized authority in Bitcoin. While this fact is majorly (r)evolutionary, it also means that it can be hard to know where to find reliable information. Join us for this introductory workshop to learn the basics: - What is Bitcoin? - What makes Bitcoin unique? - How to choose the best wallet for you - How to buy your first bits of a bitcoin - Resources and tools for expanding your knowledge - Q & A Phoenyx Guyton has a degree in Global Economic Systems and International Business, and has been a student of decentralized systems, social movements, and cryptocurrencies for many years.
