Startup Victoria keeps giving you access to high level international speakers. After hosting Steve Blank & Jerry Engel in October, this month we will host Dave McClure.
A special thank you goes out to Investors' org who got Dave out to Australia.
To ensure that Startup Victoria remains in a position to deliver you such solid content on a monthly basis and in an attempt to give back to our generous members we have shaken up the format a bit.
This will be the first ticketed Lean Startup Melbourne. Members get in for free and non-members now have the opportunity to secure their early bird tickets for a mere $25 (standard tickets are $40). Members also get access to the exclusive VIP pre-event drinks with Dave at an undisclosed location starting at 5.30pm. Dave will do a presentation on Bulding Ecosystems at the pre-event drinks.
This means that RSVPing on this page is not enough. You can secure your tickets HERE (https://register.canbook.me/lsm-dave-mcclure). Member ticket for the pre-event drinks and the event can be secured on the same page with your member number (you can find your member number on your dashboard).
This is the first of many events where we will give our members exclusive access to our speakers. This is the time to start benefiting from all the perks that come with being a Startup Victoria member. Check out the perks and sign up HERE (https://startupvictoria.com.au/memberships) for a mere $99 (just look at the value! (https://startupvictoria.com.au/memberships)).

About Dave McCLure
Dave McClure (http://linkedin.com/in/davemcclure) is a venture capitalist & founding partner at 500 Startups (http://500startups.com/), an internet startup seed fund and incubator program in Mountain View, CA. He likes to hang out with entrepreneurs, and occasionally invest in startups foolish enough to let him. He has been an investor in over 250 companies including Mint.com, Twilio, Wildfire Interactive, SendGrid, TaskRabbit, SlideShare, Mashery, CreditKarma, KISSmetrics, and MakerBot, among others.
Dave has been geeking out in Silicon Valley for over twenty years, and has worked with companies such as PayPal, Founders Fund, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twilio, Mint.com, Simply Hired, O'Reilly Media, Intel, & Microsoft. Years ago he used to do real work like coding or marketing or running conferences, but these days he mostly does useless stuff like sending lots of email, blogging, and hanging out on Facebook and Twitter.
Dave also likes to play ultimate frisbee (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultimate_%28sport%29) when his knees don't hurt.
Once again, this event wouldn't be possible without our sponsors:
