As a follow-up the very successful "Intro to Git" presentation, some people have talked about doing a related presentation on something a bit more advanced or practical. The idea I liked was a collection of presentations on Git workflows, so I propose that we do that for the next meeting.
What I'm imagining is that we'll have 3 or 4 presenters, each presenting a different Git workflow. Ideally these should be workflows that the presenter has actually use at some scale, though this could be for open- or closed-source work. Git can be used in any number of ways, and it can be confusing to pick one, so I think a format like this will give people a better idea of how git might help them (or how they might change their use of git.)
I'll need a number of presenters for this, so please let me know if you're interested. You'll only need to put together about 20-30 minutes of material for this, so it's pretty low-commitment. Also let me know *how* you're using git so that I can try to avoid substantial duplication.
