Every Friday Morning, Joe and other members of Staying Indie's network of professional advisors in personal finance, business law and web marketing help cut through the issues that are holding independent creatives back from taking more creative risks and taking more direct ownership of their careers: things like financial burnout and breaking through the marketing noise online. Staying Indie's network is made up of veterans from the financial, legal, design, and fine and performing arts industries. Our Friday group meetings are a time to discuss best practices for the gig-to-gig work cycle -- and the importance of adapting one's own budget and habits to what THEY truly want to accomplish (and not just what they "ought to" be working towards). Some meetings are completely free, and some run $10 to help cover cost for special presenters. But all are open to the public! So grab some coffee and let's talk shop!
