During the winter season we meet at Wilkins School Community Center, 7604 Charlston Ave., Regent Square, PA 15218. During the summer we meet at Biddle's Escape, 401 Biddle Ave., Regent Square, PA 15221.

Playlist for March 6, 2013 (Theme, St. Patrick's Day):

From "Daily...365":

Lock Lomond, page 145

When Irish Eyes are Smiling, Page 288

You've Got To Hide Your Love Away, Page 283

I'm Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover, from "365 - Leap Year," Page 181 or here

Other Music:

Whiskey In The Jar, here and see it here. We can "thump" our ukuleles after the first and second lines.

Galway Girl by Steve Earle, here, and see it 1. here or 2. here

Format: Moderator leads each session, warming up with old favorite tunes. A suggested playlist with old and new tunes is posted prior to each session. After we play and make announcements, we jam "song-circle" style. The setting is friendly and informal with no commitment required - just bring your uke and join us. We encourage solo play for advanced players.

Music: Our text is "The Daily Ukulele, 365 Tunes." We also use tunes from websites, such as Dr. Uke. If you would like to introduce a new song to the group, please bring a minimum of 20 copies to pass out.

Experience: None required! All levels are welcome, from beginners to professionals. If you don't know the chords... just sing louder.

Hi Lisa! The 1h3 means play 1st fret and hammer on to 3rd fret. The wavy line behind some of the notes is a "bend" in the string, just move the string side to side. A "p" is a pull off, fret the note and pull your finger off, opposite of hammer on. Hope that helps!!
