All About That Bass Base – Baselining SQL Servers

As SQL Server DBAs, we can agree that baselining our SQL Servers is an essential task as part of our job function that we should all be doing on a regular basis. It provides us with valuable metrics to compare over time about how our SQL Servers are performing with the resources that they have under their given workload. In this session we will delve into the options for collecting baseline metrics and also look at a free tool to help analyze those counters once they have been collected.
